I love the location of the apartments. Also the cost of (17 euros) per night is so reasonable re location and entertainment. I was a solo traveller and had an apartment big enough for 3 people. I was on the ground floor with access to the beach. Beautiful view. I needed to go to Faro urgently to see a friend and had booked for that evening. The staff were so understanding and refunded the cost of the night so I could go to my friend. They also arranged the courtesy bus driver to drop me off at the bus station. I would definitely recommend the apartments and will also return in the future.
Friendly, location, staff, entertainment and value for money. You also have a courtesy bus to Algarve old town. The driver is brilliant and always has a smile for everyone.

I had a very large room to my self which was great
The place seemed empty but they insisted that it was full and so therefore I couldnt have a room with a sea view. The place was full of overweight 50+ europeans in groups so was not ideal for solo female traveller in 20s. staff at front desk did not offer any advise about the area - or even how to get to the train station! Manager was quiet rude when dealing with me. Kitchenette didnt have any spatulars to use when cooking or washing up liquid

The overall location of the hotel, close to the beach and between the old and new towns of Albufeira. Some local shops and restaurants very close by.
The receptionist when we checked in, had to be the most arrogant, non- customer oreintated person I have ever met. We had booked a 1 bed apartment, but the one allocated was nothing short of a dungeon, after 10-15 mins of arguing, we were offered a studio apt. a lot brighter but half the size, which we accepted, as alternatives late in the day did'nt seem great. Might I add this offer only came about after the intervention of the second receptionist who was more customer focused.

I stayed in an apartment with a balcony and a nice sea view for 15€/night (during low season in March) at the Monica Isabel Beach Club. The location is excellent, just a few steps from a gorgeous beach. Albufeira's old town is a 10-15 min walk by the beach or some 3 euros by taxi. There is free Wi-Fi (although slow) at the reception area which was a plus. Make sure to get a room with a sea view.
The apartment I stayed in was rather outdated yet spacious and clean. Most guests appeared to be budget travelers from the UK who had opted for the all inclusive option. Avoid a French owned sports bar with extremely rude service located right up the hill from the resort.

Very convenient beach access. Can walk along the beach to town of Albufeira. With a car it's easy to do day trips from here.
The kitchen facilities were sparse -- no toaster, no microwave, few cups and bowls. But a good fridge and 2 burner hotplate. Would have been hard to find if we had not known it was connected to the Monica Isabel Resort. There was a heater in the bedroom but the living area was fairly cool in the evening and overnight (off season in mid February). Rooms were a good size and all in all good value for the winter rates.

Inexpensive and close to beach.
Free computers kept breaking down all the time and the 20 minute maximum use was ignored.

I liked the sound of the waves and the access to Internet, which I needed for my work, although access was sporadic for the first two days. I pointed it out to the staff and it was fixed in two hours. The breakfast was usually good.
At that price - 10 euro a day - it was excellent value.

Apartment was basic, but was excellent value for money. .Very good location, with sea view
The directions to these apartments should make it more clear that they are part of the Monica Isabel Beach Club. I had difficulty in trying to find them after dark

Apartment was clean wnd in a good position near the beach. The furniture and fittings were basic but adequate, Overall the accomodation was excellent value for the price.
As we visited out of season (Nov) many of the facilites on the site were not operating, Also the accomodation was rather difficult to find.

Check-in was extremely slow and staff in reception were not friendly at all. It was like an industry Also while the room was supposed to be at 12h, the room was just cleaned when we arrived around 16h. Walls in room not insulated for noise and we could hear all what was happening in neighbor rooms. The hotel is in reality a place where travel agency send groups of tourists (some of them up to 50). This is not a good place to relax. It was also said that Wifi was available in the rooms which is not true.

Location was excellent, a stones throw from the beach, apartment was spacious and balcony had a sea view, simple but had everything you'd need - with so much to offer outside, you don't want too much in your room to keep you inside! There were little shops and markets on-site so you want for nothing, the pool was great too! Very close to several restaurants and not too far away from the other areas of Albufeira. Lots of parking too if you rent a car, which we did! Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay and would go back again!
We really loved this place, but the only strange thing was that the room had 4 single beds and no doubles... we were on our honeymoon so we just pushed two of the beds together! Not the most comfortable but was fine for our short stay. Also, the place goes by two names, The Apartamentos Praia Do Forte Sao Jao but mainly called the "Monica Isabel"... confusing when we were trying to find reception late at night in the dark!
